Frequently asked questions
- Can I customise the criteria and weights?
- The free plan uses 6 pre-calibrated criteria with fixed weights. Upgrade to Pro to edit criterion names, descriptions, and weights — and save custom templates for reuse across future roles.
- Do panelists need a HiringKit account?
- No. Each panelist receives a unique link to a private scoring page. They submit their scores without creating an account.
- How is the aggregate score calculated?
- Each panelist scores every criterion from 1–5. Scores are multiplied by the criterion weight, summed per panelist, then averaged across the panel to produce the weighted aggregate.
- Why use HiringKit instead of a shared spreadsheet?
- HiringKit gives each panelist an independent scoring link (preventing anchoring bias), calculates weighted aggregates automatically, and sends automated reminders when panelists haven't submitted — none of which a spreadsheet does natively.
